Au-delà parfois de certains artistes qui réenregistrent pour palper les droits sur leurs chansons, d'autres, proposent de véritables work in progress. Certains peintres également ne lâchent jamais leurs sujets et malaxent, triturent leurs œuvres.

C'est ce que je voulais dire ! (d'ailleurs un des albums de Sinatra ou il ne reprend que des titres déjà enregistrés dans le passé s'appelle "Sinatra's Sinatra " en référence à "Picasso's Picasso" ! )

A propos de Sinatra j'ai un 33 de lui que j'adore "Some Nice things I've Missed" ..je sais pas si il est bien considéré par les fans mais il y a là dessus des morceaux qui me filent les poils à chaque écoute

C'est un disque seventies, alors la sonorité, l'ambiance, le feeling te conviennent peut être particulièrement ??? Loin d'être considéré comme un de ses meilleurs, et même éreinté par la critique à l'époque il me semble...Ca reste Sinatra, et j'aime certains morceaux comme sa version de "The summer knows" (j'adore le film "summer of 42" et son thème de Michel Legrand) ...à noter pour un des forumeurs présents qu'il y a aussi sa version de...Bad, bad, Leroy Brown !

Mais ne me dis pas que la chanson You turned my world around n'est pas un classique de Sinatra? c''est presque pas possible tellement ce morceau est merveilleux et l'interprétation incroyablement habitée

C'est devenu un "petit" classique, oui. Pourquoi "petit" ??? Juste parce que des classiques, dans son répertoire, il y en avait déjà des tonnes, du Gershwin, du Cole Porter, etc, etc...mais c'est une très belle chanson oui !

Qualité audience en générale bonne / très bonne, sauf quelques rares exceptions où la version vaut le coup (Hop farm 2010...).

Bon, comme je me suis fait pardonner (j'espère ), je met le lien pour un titre de 1981 de Sinatra, que je trouve poignant, et qui se trouve sur un album sombre, méconnu mais excellent pour moi :
