These were originally a fully fledged band on their debut album DIE ZEIT STEHT STILL, which was produced by Jochen Petersen, playing a lightweight progressive rock, stylistically close to Novalis or DDR bands like Karat or Electra, with folky phrased lyrics in German. For that album they are of interest. The only other recordings of the original Blonker group are the live tracks on the BRAIN FESTIVAL ESSEN II album.

Later releases (see Blonker in the "Synth & New-Age" section) saw the band disintegrate, becoming the vehicle for guitarist Dieter Geike and session friends. Really, these albums are so wet and pretty, hence the reason for them being separated!
